As part of our finance team, you will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with local and international standards, and serve as a liaison for Mandarin-speaking clients and partners. Responsibility
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients, vendors, and internal teams to clarify financial transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, payroll processing, and statutory reporting.
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed.
- Maintain organized financial records and implement process improvements for efficiency.
- Translate financial documents and reports between English and Mandarin when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in accounting or finance roles, preferably in an international or multicultural environment.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory; English proficiency is required.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with cross-border transactions or multi-currency accounting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with Indonesian financial regulations is an advantage.
