Responsibility
- Assist with daily accounting activities including data entry, invoice processing, and expense tracking
- Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
- Help prepare documentation for audits and tax filings
- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and procedures
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups)
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
