Responsibility
- Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, including ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes under supervision.
- Help with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Assist in tax compliance tasks, including data collection and basic filings.
- Conduct basic financial analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
- Participate in audit preparations by organizing documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) to process and analyze financial data.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior internship or coursework in accounting is a plus.
