As an Accounting Intern, you will work closely with our finance team to support daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance tasks. Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Support the accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, and payment tracking.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Help maintain and organize financial documentation, ensuring proper filing and easy retrieval.
- Participate in budget preparation and variance analysis under supervision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data for reporting purposes.
- Assist in audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality in handling financial data.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous but not required.
