Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Support the accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification, vendor reconciliations, and payment processing.
- Collaborate with senior finance team members to analyze financial data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities, helping to track expenses and compare actuals against projections.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly documented and filed.
- Assist with internal and external audit preparations by compiling necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in accounting and finance.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree program in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (recent graduates may also apply).
- Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Basic understanding of GAAP, IFRS, or financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
