Responsibility
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, adjustments, and reclassifications.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including financial statement preparation.
- Conduct regular account analyses and reconciliations (e.g., bank, intercompany, fixed assets).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support audits.
- Generate and distribute financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax-related documents and compliance with local regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or partial qualification is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in general ledger accounting, preferably in a corporate or tech environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and intercompany reconciliations is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote or hybrid setting.
