Responsibility
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and expense tracking.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts under supervision.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits.
- Handle ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as assigned by the finance manager.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role (internships or entry-level experience accepted).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
