As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with month-end closing procedures. Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are properly documented and classified.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and file tax documents, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting under the guidance of senior accounting staff.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and provide reporting support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of numerical data.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior internship or entry-level experience in accounting is a plus.
