Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights for business decisions.
- Conduct cost analysis and profitability reviews for dealership operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll transactions.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial reporting and accounting procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills to present financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
