Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze standard and specialized financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and monthly closing reports.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant accounting standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and monitor financial performance against these targets.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure the integrity of financial data and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide support during tax season, including the preparation of tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations, and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements is an advantage.
