Responsibility
- Client Portfolio Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the oils & fats industry, including manufacturers, processors, and distributors.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Southeast Asia, with a focus on Indonesia, to expand market share.
- Technical Consultation: Provide expert advice on oils & fats engineering solutions, including processing equipment, refining technologies, and sustainability practices.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Implement targeted sales strategies to meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for high-value contracts, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and clients.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, logistics, and R&D teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Customer Support: Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in B2B sales, account management, or business development within the agribusiness, oils & fats, or food processing industries.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of oils & fats processing, refining, or related engineering fields (preferred).
- Regional Expertise: Experience working in Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia, with existing networks a plus.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English (mandatory); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or Mandarin is highly advantageous.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and managing complex client relationships.
- Negotiation Skills: Exceptional ability to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with confidence.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Agriculture, or a related field; MBA or technical certification is a plus.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel regionally (20-30%) to meet clients and attend industry events.
