Responsibility
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts in the shipping and logistics sector.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and client satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with operations, finance, and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Identify new business opportunities and upsell additional services to existing clients.
- Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability while maintaining client relationships.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, market conditions, and company offerings to provide expert guidance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in account management, sales, or business development, preferably in shipping/logistics.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
