Responsibility
- Process and verify daily client transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies.
- Prepare and issue cheques, payment vouchers, and other financial documents in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable records.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies to ensure financial integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Liaise with clients to address accounting inquiries and provide exceptional service.
- Support audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of local tax regulations and financial reporting standards is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
