Responsibility
- Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of risk, compliance, and governance frameworks to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and addressing audit findings.
- Collaborate with the Academy team to design and deliver training programs focused on risk awareness, compliance best practices, and quality assurance.
- Monitor and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and compliance metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct regular reviews of business processes to assess control effectiveness and recommend enhancements.
- Assist in the preparation of governance-related reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and emerging risks to ensure the organization remains compliant.
- Foster a culture of risk awareness and accountability by engaging with teams across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Risk Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, governance, or quality assurance, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, audit processes, and control environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with compliance or risk management software is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Certifications such as CRISC, CISA, or ISO 27001 are advantageous but not required.
