Responsibility
- Perform 2D echocardiograms (M-mode, Doppler, Color Flow Imaging) with precision and adherence to clinical standards.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the examination.
- Operate and maintain echocardiographic equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to interpret results and provide preliminary findings.
- Document patient data, imaging results, and technical observations in electronic health records (EHR).
- Follow strict infection control and radiation safety protocols (where applicable).
- Stay updated on advancements in echocardiographic techniques and best practices.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs provided by Maxicare.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Medical Imaging, Nursing, or a related healthcare field (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Willingness to undergo comprehensive training in 2D echocardiography (no prior experience required).
- Basic knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and cardiac function is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedural protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and medical staff.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist patients with mobility limitations.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
