Responsibility
- Perform 2D echocardiograms, including M-mode, Doppler, and Color Flow Imaging.
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process clearly.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams for accurate diagnoses.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or related field.
- Willingness to undergo training in echocardiogram procedures (training provided).
- Basic knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Strong attention to detail and technical skills.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is a plus.
- Prior experience in ultrasound or cardiac imaging is advantageous but not required.
