Responsibility
- Perform high-quality 2D echocardiograms, including M-mode, Doppler, and Color Flow Imaging, adhering to clinical protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the examination.
- Operate and maintain echocardiographic equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to interpret findings and provide preliminary reports.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Follow strict infection control and hygiene practices to ensure a sterile working environment.
- Stay updated on advancements in cardiac imaging technology and best practices through continuous education.
- Assist in training new technologists and support team members in achieving operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Radiologic Technology, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.
- Willingness to undergo specialized training in 2D echocardiography (prior experience is a plus but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedural guidelines.
- Excellent patient care skills, with a compassionate and professional demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
