Responsibility
- Risk Assessment & Containment: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate long-term risks to youth safety, including harmful content, predatory behavior, and policy violations.
- Policy Enforcement: Apply and refine TikTokās safety policies, ensuring consistent and fair enforcement across regions.
- Data Analysis: Leverage analytics tools to detect patterns, trends, and emerging threats in user behavior and content.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with legal, product, and engineering teams to implement scalable safety solutions.
- Incident Escalation: Document and escalate high-risk cases to senior stakeholders with actionable insights.
- Process Improvement: Recommend enhancements to containment workflows, tools, and automation to increase efficiency.
- Training & Awareness: Develop training materials to educate internal teams on youth safety best practices.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to global regulations (e.g., COPPA, GDPR) and TikTokās internal guidelines.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years in trust & safety, content moderation, risk analysis, or a related field (preferably in tech or social media).
- Youth Safety Expertise: Deep understanding of online risks to minors, including grooming, exploitation, and harmful content.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Policy Knowledge: Familiarity with global digital safety regulations and platform policies.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills in English; ability to articulate risks and solutions clearly.
- Problem-Solving: Critical thinking to assess ambiguous situations and propose effective containment strategies.
- Tech-Savviness: Comfort with digital platforms, moderation tools, and basic technical troubleshooting.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to navigate diverse cultural contexts and adapt policies accordingly.
