Responsibility
- Monitor and manage network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls) 24/7 to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain network hardware and software in alignment with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement network upgrades, patches, and security enhancements.
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports for compliance and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct proactive network capacity planning and performance tuning to prevent future issues.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of network policies, standards, and procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- CCNP certification (or equivalent) is mandatory; CCNA or higher-level certifications (e.g., CCIE) are a plus.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar roles, with hands-on expertise in Cisco technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN, QoS, and network security protocols.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) for cross-team collaboration.
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and SD-WAN solutions is advantageous.
- Willingness to work in shift-based schedules (including nights/weekends) as required.
