Responsibility
- Develop and implement advanced welding processes to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
- Collaborate with Production, QA, and NPI teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and products.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve overall productivity.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of welding procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff on welding techniques and safety protocols.
- Analyze and resolve production issues related to welding and process engineering.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing workflows and reduce waste.
- Document and maintain records of welding processes, procedures, and improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in welding process development and manufacturing process optimization.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and industry standards.
- Experience with Quality Assurance (QA) and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot production issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for process analysis and documentation.
- Certification in welding engineering or related fields is a plus.
