Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Enforce FEFO (First Expired, First Out) compliance to minimize product waste and ensure freshness.
- Conduct regular audits of warehouse processes to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor product quality at every stage, from receipt to delivery, and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to optimize inventory management.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and quality assurance processes.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance, quality metrics, and loss prevention.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in warehouse management, logistics, or quality assurance, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of FEFO, FIFO, and inventory control principles.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) is a plus.
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
