As a Warehouse Officer, you will oversee the end-to-end warehouse operations, ensuring seamless receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods. Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Manage inventory control systems, conduct regular stock audits, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain 99%+ accuracy in inventory records.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and accountability.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety protocols, including proper handling of materials, equipment operation, and adherence to OSHA/ISO standards.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to improve workflow, reduce operational costs, and enhance productivity.
- Coordinate with logistics providers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth inbound and outbound logistics operations.
- Generate and analyze warehouse performance reports (e.g., KPIs on turnaround time, accuracy, and cost) to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry best practices for warehouse management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Diploma holders with relevant experience may also apply.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or electronics industries.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team in a high-volume warehouse environment.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Familiarity with lean warehouse principles, 5S methodology, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Certification in warehouse management, forklift operation, or occupational safety is advantageous.
