Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure accurate inventory management, including stock control, cycle counting, and reconciliation.
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Implement and enforce safety, health, and environmental (SHE) policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, generate reports, and analyze performance metrics.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and service levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role within the manufacturing or logistics industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of inventory control principles, lean management, and Six Sigma is a plus.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, ISO standards, and quality control procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
