Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory using systematic storage methods (e.g., FIFO, LIFO).
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile inventory discrepancies to maintain data accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and in compliance with company policies.
- Label and tag inventory items for easy identification and retrieval.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free warehouse environment in accordance with OHSA standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., WMS) is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, hand trucks) and safety protocols.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic English proficiency (written and verbal) for communication with colleagues and vendors.
