Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, adhering to FIFO (First-In-First-Out) principles.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, verifying quantities and product conditions to meet quality standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including documentation and tracking.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in warehouse, inventory, or logistics roles, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
- Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 kg, with attention to proper lifting techniques.
- Basic proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software; willingness to learn new tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail to minimize errors in order fulfillment and inventory tracking.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with team members and supervisors.
- Forklift certification is advantageous but not mandatory (training may be provided).
