Responsibility
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to load, unload, and move materials.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, deliveries, and shipments using warehouse management systems.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational protocols in all warehouse activities.
- Perform regular inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse space and improve workflow efficiency.
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling products as required.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Assistant, Forklift Operator, or similar role (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 kg) as needed.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime when required.
