Responsibility
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move, locate, and stack materials.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for dispatch, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Perform inventory counts and assist in cycle counting to ensure stock accuracy.
- Load and unload delivery trucks using manual or mechanical equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and efficiency targets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Assistant or Forklift Operator (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems (e.g., WMS).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or overtime as required.
