Responsibility
- Process and manage US payroll for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Respond to employee and client inquiries regarding payroll, tax, and benefits in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle escalations and resolve payroll discrepancies or issues efficiently.
- Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.
- Stay updated on changes in US payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports as required by management or clients.
- Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation to support payroll activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in US payroll processing.
- Strong understanding of US payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in payroll (e.g., CPP) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
