Responsibility
- Prepare and organize ingredients for cooking and practical sessions in accordance with recipes and instructions.
- Assist in maintaining kitchen laboratories, ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with food safety standards.
- Support the setup and breakdown of kitchen equipment and workstations for lessons, examinations, and events.
- Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and notify supervisors of shortages or restocking needs.
- Follow proper food storage procedures to prevent spoilage and contamination.
- Collaborate with chefs and instructors to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely preparation.
- Adhere to workplace safety protocols, including proper handling of sharp objects, hot surfaces, and chemicals.
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene practices.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
