Responsibility
- Monitor, operate, and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in BMS, including software, hardware, and network connectivity problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades, expansions, or integrations.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation of system performance, maintenance activities, and incidents.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental protocols.
- Provide technical support and training to facility staff on BMS operations and best practices.
- Assist in emergency response situations, including system failures or critical infrastructure issues.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in BMS operation, maintenance, or a similar technical role.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, automation controls, and SCADA is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics, blueprints, and system manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, ISO) and local regulations for building systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to document procedures and train others.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call duties for emergency situations.
