Responsibility
- Process and verify employee travel and expense reports in compliance with company policies and tax regulations.
- Reconcile corporate credit card statements and vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and timely payments.
- Maintain and update expense tracking systems, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to travel and operational expenses.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to enforce expense policies and recommend process improvements.
- Conduct audits on expense claims to mitigate fraud and ensure adherence to budget guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documentation and support external audits as required.
- Provide guidance to employees on expense submission procedures and policy inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, expense management, or audit roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards for travel and expense reporting.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with multi-currency transactions and international expense policies is advantageous.
