Responsibility
- Manage and process Letters of Credit (LC) and other trade finance instruments in compliance with international banking regulations.
- Coordinate with banks, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of trade finance transactions.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in trade documents to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of all trade finance activities and prepare reports for management review.
- Liaise with global trading partners to ensure adherence to contractual terms and financial agreements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of trade finance policies and procedures.
- Provide support in risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to trade finance operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in trade finance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in trade finance, preferably in a multinational corporation or banking environment.
- Strong knowledge of Letters of Credit (LC), trade finance instruments, and international banking regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiar with trade finance software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in trade finance (e.g., CDCS) is a plus.
