Responsibility
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity and compliance with GAAP or IFRS standards.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business decision-making and strategic planning.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections, while maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax regulations.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP) to manage financial data, generate reports, and streamline processes.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and assistance to internal and external auditors.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or financial roles, with exposure to general ledger, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS standards and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial data.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience with tax compliance and familiarity with local tax laws in Indonesia is advantageous.
