Responsibility

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive third-party risk management framework aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence assessments of potential vendors, evaluating their financial stability, operational capabilities, and compliance with security standards.
  • Monitor and review vendor performance continuously, identifying and addressing risks that may impact business operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Compliance, and Procurement, to ensure vendor contracts include appropriate risk mitigation clauses.
  • Lead regular risk assessments and audits of third-party vendors, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on emerging risks, regulatory changes, and industry trends affecting third-party relationships.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on third-party risk management policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and present risk reports to senior management, highlighting key risks and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CRM, CTPRP) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in third-party risk management, vendor management, or a related role within the financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, AML, and other relevant financial services regulations.
  • Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, due diligence, and vendor audits with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in risk management tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
