Responsibility
- Manage the end-to-end process of third-party asset clearance, including music, images, videos, and trademarks, ensuring full compliance with licensing agreements.
- Liaise with clients, legal teams, and vendors to verify usage rights, negotiate terms, and resolve discrepancies in asset documentation.
- Develop and maintain a centralized asset tracking system to monitor expiration dates, territorial restrictions, and renewal requirements.
- Coordinate with creative and production teams to align third-party content with campaign timelines and deliverables.
- Conduct risk assessments on asset usage to preempt copyright or contractual violations.
- Prepare and distribute detailed reports on asset status, usage metrics, and compliance for stakeholders.
- Educate internal teams on best practices for third-party content integration and licensing limitations.
- Stay updated on global copyright laws and industry standards to ensure Hogarthâs adherence to evolving regulations.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in asset management, rights clearance, or business affairs within advertising, media, or entertainment industries.
- Proven track record of managing high-volume third-party content portfolios for international clients.
- Deep understanding of copyright law, licensing agreements, and intellectual property rights.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills to coordinate across global teams and time zones.
- Proficiency in asset management software (e.g., Bynder, Canto, or custom databases) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to interpret and negotiate contracts with vendors, artists, and rights holders.
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex clearance issues under tight deadlines.
- Bachelorâs degree in Law, Business, Marketing, or a related field; additional certifications in IP management are a plus.
