Responsibility
- Assist licensed therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas to ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Monitor and document patient progress, providing feedback to therapists for adjustments in care plans.
- Support patients during therapy sessions, ensuring their comfort and adherence to prescribed exercises.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercises and self-care techniques to promote recovery.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in therapy assistance.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related healthcare field.
- Prior experience as a therapy assistant or in a similar healthcare support role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, with a focus on empathy and understanding.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and therapy techniques.
- Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and perform tasks requiring standing or movement.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
