Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for banking applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Document and track software defects using industry-standard bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements and resolve technical discrepancies.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system stability under high traffic.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and provide regular progress updates to project stakeholders.
- Support the automation of test scripts to increase efficiency and coverage in the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in software testing, preferably within the Banking or Financial Services domain.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies.
- Proven experience with testing tools such as Jira, Selenium, or Postman.
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and backend testing.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to commit to the full 6-month contract duration.
