Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and TypeScript to validate software functionality.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners in Agile/Scrum teams to define test cases and acceptance criteria.
- Integrate test automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to enable continuous testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA or similar, ensuring timely resolution.
- Perform API and performance testing to ensure system scalability and reliability.
- Leverage AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3) to deploy and manage test environments.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in test automation and advocate for best practices within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in test automation with expertise in Selenium, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and CI/CD tools.
- Proficiency in API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing (e.g., JMeter).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in remote, distributed teams.
