Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily telecom operations, ensuring adherence to SLAs and industry standards.
- Lead a team of technicians and engineers to maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot telecom infrastructure, including VoIP, fiber optics, and wireless networks.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance network performance and reliability.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders to align telecom solutions with business objectives.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of new telecom equipment and software.
- Prepare and present reports on network performance, project progress, and budget utilization to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with local and international telecom regulations, security protocols, and data protection standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunications, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of telecom systems, including VoIP, SD-WAN, fiber optics, and wireless technologies (4G/5G).
- Proven experience in network design, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or ITIL are a strong plus.
- Familiarity with telecom compliance standards (e.g., ISO, ITU) and cybersecurity best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to rapidly changing technologies.
