Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end program management for large-scale geospatial projects, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality mapping solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and data science to define technical roadmaps and execution plans
- Drive technical decision-making processes and resolve complex dependencies across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Develop and implement program governance frameworks, risk management strategies, and mitigation plans for geospatial initiatives
- Optimize development processes and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability of mapping services
- Establish and track key performance metrics to measure program success and business impact
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and executive leadership, providing regular status updates and strategic recommendations
- Identify opportunities for innovation in geospatial technology and drive adoption of new mapping capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 8+ years of technical program management experience, with at least 3 years in geospatial, mapping, or location-based services
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical programs in a global environment
- Strong technical background with understanding of geospatial data structures, GIS technologies, and mapping algorithms
- Experience with Agile methodologies and program management tools (Jira, Asana, or similar)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working with remote teams and managing distributed development processes
