Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for raw materials, components, and calibration services to meet production and quality requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure cost-effective and reliable supply chains.
- Manage purchase orders (POs) from creation to delivery, ensuring timely procurement and inventory alignment.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure purchased materials meet technical specifications and calibration standards.
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, expenditures, and supplier communications in compliance with company policies.
- Stay updated on market trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes affecting procurement in the medical device industry.
- Support sustainability initiatives by identifying eco-friendly materials and ethical sourcing practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or medical devices.
- Proven expertise in negotiation, supplier management, and contract administration.
- Strong understanding of calibration standards, quality control, and ISO regulations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Certification in CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or similar is a plus.
