Responsibility
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of AWS cloud infrastructure to support global SaaS operations.
- Oversee Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security for enterprise-grade applications.
- Develop and enforce DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated testing.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align DevOps strategies with business goals and customer needs.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to minimize downtime.
- Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives for cloud resources while maintaining performance and reliability.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our infrastructure competitive and future-proof.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.) and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).
- Strong background in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI).
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance (IAM, VPC, SSL/TLS, GDPR, SOC2).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead teams through complex technical challenges.
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
