Responsibility
- Assist the lead teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons and educational activities.
- Provide individualized support to students to help them understand and complete assignments.
- Supervise students during classroom activities, breaks, and transitions to ensure a safe and productive environment.
- Help create and organize teaching materials, visual aids, and other resources to enhance the learning experience.
- Support the assessment of student progress by assisting with grading, feedback, and record-keeping.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement effective teaching strategies and address student needs.
- Participate in professional development workshops and training sessions to continuously improve your skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students learn and grow.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow instructions from lead teachers.
- Basic knowledge of classroom management techniques and child development principles.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills, especially Bahasa Indonesia, are an advantage.
- Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and multicultural environment.
