Responsibility
- Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns for individuals and businesses in compliance with local and national regulations.
- Conduct thorough tax research to identify tax-saving opportunities and ensure adherence to evolving tax laws.
- Assist in tax audits by gathering necessary documentation and liaising with tax authorities as required.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date tax records, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile tax accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, offering insights to optimize their tax positions.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant updates to the team and clients.
- Support the finance department in preparing financial statements and reports related to tax obligations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A certification in taxation (e.g., Brevet A & B) is a plus.
- Proven experience in tax preparation, compliance, and advisory, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Indonesian tax laws and regulations is highly desirable.
