Responsibility
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns in compliance with Indonesian tax laws.
- Review and verify financial documents, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports, for tax accuracy.
- Maintain organized records of tax-related transactions and ensure proper documentation for audits.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile tax accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and implement necessary adjustments to company policies.
- Assist in tax planning and provide recommendations to optimize tax efficiency.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities during inspections or inquiries.
- Generate tax reports and presentations for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions preferred).
- Strong understanding of Indonesian tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Certification in taxation (e.g., Brevet A/B) is a plus.
