Responsibility
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, including timely filing of tax returns and payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial reports and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards, providing recommendations for process improvements.
- Support the finance team in ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax compliance, accounting, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of local tax regulations and accounting principles (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly.
- Experience in the healthcare or medical industry is an advantage.
