Responsibility
- Oversee and review tax filings, ensuring compliance with Indonesian and Australian tax regulations.
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing training and performance feedback.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize financial efficiency for clients.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during tax audits and financial reviews.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and advise management on potential impacts.
- Streamline tax processes and improve internal controls for accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business decision-making with tax insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CA certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and familiarity with Australian Accounting Standards.
- Proven experience leading a team and managing tax compliance for multiple entities.
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in tax software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Fluent in English and Indonesian; ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to relocate to or work in Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, or surrounding areas).
