Responsibility
- Provide 24/7 production support for enterprise applications and infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve technical issues promptly to maintain business continuity.
- Manage deployments, patches, and system updates in coordination with development and operations teams.
- Administer and optimize cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure, including servers, databases, and networking components.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and incident response procedures.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce IT policies, compliance standards, and best practices.
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support for critical incidents as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience in systems operations, IT infrastructure support, or DevOps roles.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Proficiency in system administration (Windows/Linux), networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN), and database management (SQL, NoSQL).
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues under pressure.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog) and log analysis (ELK Stack, Splunk).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
