Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable system infrastructure to support business operations.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability, security, and integrity of all server environments.
- Proactively troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing rapid resolution to minimize downtime.
- Manage system backups, disaster recovery protocols, and cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new applications and upgrade existing systems.
- Automate routine administrative tasks through scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in system engineering, network administration, or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, or Docker).
- Familiarity with network protocols, firewall management, and security best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, AWS Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified) are highly desirable.
