Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales inputs to ensure product availability.
- Create and execute supply plans that align with production capacities, inventory levels, and customer demand.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess stock or shortages.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, fill rates, and lead times to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve supply chain disruptions and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives by evaluating transportation, storage, and procurement strategies.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, highlighting supply chain performance and recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or inventory management, preferably in the FMCG or food and beverage industry.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Experience with demand planning tools (e.g., ToolsGroup, Demand Solutions) is a plus.
- Familiarity with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
